CRGR | El Salvador | 4 Dec.- During two days, representatives of the CRGR and National Tables of Risk Management met in a working day for Strategic Planning 2018.
This activity was the propitious instance to share experiences of each of the technical and operational areas of the network in terms of their management, needs and vision, through which to strengthen the central guidelines of the CRGR and National Tables in the face of the challenges of 2018.
The conference included the participation of the project facilitation teams, communications, response officers, technical team of the executive secretary and regional coordination team; At the national level, the representatives were COCIGER, MPGR, MNIGR and MNGR and at the regional level of the CRGR and Oxfam.
The Executive Secretary, Wilson Galo, said that this activity is a space that the CRGR together with representatives of its membership to analyze and redefine its action plan for next year 2018.
«This planning day is based on a participatory conversation, of utmost importance to set goals and work on them, commenting on successful experiences and lessons learned to strengthen the work developed from the most vulnerable communities to the process of influence at regional and international level «Indicated the Executive Secretary.
During the second day, the day was coordinated by Oxfam to facilitate the process of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Tool (MEL) with the objective that each National Table of the 4 countries and the CRGR establish a parameter of application of this methodology in future actions.
Also, within the framework of the agreement signed between the CRGR and the Center for Studies on Development and Disasters of the University of San Carlos (CEDECYD) of Guatemala, through Juan Pablo Oliva, Director of this identity, the delivery of the certifications related to the different specialization courses that the Coalition has developed, to date: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WAHS), livelihoods and humanitarian leadership.
As of this day, the CRGR and National Risk Management Tables have already defined objectives, strategies and the main activities to be carried out during the next year 2018.
